Windows 10: How to workaround "'This app has been blocked for your protection' error when installing software on Windwos 10?

User protection in Windows 10 seems to be a bit aggressive, which may be helpful but it gets in the way too much. When we try to install an application some are denied with the following message - "An administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information, contact the administrator." Even if the software you are trying to install is trusted, you seem to have not option to install this now. Let's find out how to workaround this error.

Before you are more interested, you are warned that this restriction is in place to prevent malicious software. So it is up to you to verify from where you got the file you want to install. Is the source of the program trustworthy? Have you downloaded the file from any software or driver download websites that are less trustworthy? That is up to you to verify. If it is not trusted, the software is better not installed. But sometimes we may want to install a legitimate software, and this error may get in the way. In that case, we are good to go.

The error "An administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information, contact the administrator." appears even if a software is installed with administrative privileges, that is, by selecting "Run as Administrator".

Pay Scale - Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2000
Total Number of Vacancies - 2030 Vacancies
RPF - 1827 Vacancies (UR-804, SC-264, ST-145, OBC-614)

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2016) -18 to 25 years i.e. a candidate must be born between 02.07.1991 and 01.07.1998 (both dates inclusive).

Selection / Recruitment Procedure
Selection/ Recruitment process for the selection of RPF RPSF Women (Mahila) Constable will consist of Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test and Document verification.
Written Exam / Written Exam Pattern - After scrutiny eligible candidates will have to undergo an Objective type written exam of 120 questions of one mark each. Question Paper for Railway Women (Mahila) Constable Written Exam will comprise of questions based on General Awareness (50 questions), Arithmetic (35 questions) and General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 questions). There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Minimum 35% marks for UR/OBC candidates and minimum 30% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify the written exam.
Physical Tests
Qualified candidates of Written Exam will be called for Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test. The PET will be of qualifying nature and required to qualify the following events. Qualified candidates of PET will be measured for eligibility with respect to height.
Run/Race - 800 Meters in 03.40 Minutes (One chance)
Long Jump - 12 Feet (Two chances)
High Jump - 03 Feet (Two chances)

Examination Fee - Nil (All candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee)
