As per AWES, there are 137 Army Public Schools (APS) in various Cantonments & Military Stations all over India. Approx 8000 teachers work in these schools and approx 2000 get turned over every year.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
PGT Subjects - English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science/ Informatics, Home Science & Physical Education
PGT Educational Qualification - Post Graduation in the concerned subject and B.Ed with min 50% marks in both qualifications.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
TGT Subjects - English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology
TGT Educational Qualification - Graduation in the concerned subject and B.Ed with min 50% marks in both qualifications and CTET/TET qualified.
Primary Teacher (PRT)
PRT Educational Qualification - Graduation in the concerned subject and B.Ed with min 50% marks in both qualifications and CTET/TET qualified.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2017)
Fresh Candidates - Max 40 years (except for NCR schools where TGT/PRT should be max 29 years & PGT max 36 years)
Experienced Candidates - Max 57 years (min 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years)
Selection/ Recruitment Process
Selection/ Recruitment Process will consist of Stage 1st (Screening Exam), Stage 2nd (Interview) & Stage 3rd (Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency). Score card will be given to screening exam qualified candidates which will be valid for 03 years to take teaching position in any CBSE recognized school.

How to Apply
Eligible & interested candidates may submit their applications for AWES APS Recruitment 2016-2017 Online through website www.awesindia.com or www.aps-csb.in upto 13 September 2016. Candidates will have to upload the documents (Photographs & signatures, Proof of date of birth and Certificates of academic qualifications) to complete the online registration process. Candidates are required to read the instructions & fill all the required details while filling up the online application form.
