Uttarakhand Lower Subordinate Recruitment Exam 2016
Pay Scale - Rs.9300-34800 with GP Rs.4200
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2016) - 21 to 42 years i.e. candidate must have been born between 02.07.1974 and 01.07.1995.
Educational Qualification - Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Candidates must be registered in any of the Employment Offices of Uttarakhand State till the last date of receipt of online application form.

Number of Vacancies - 45 Vacancies (Gen-29, SC-08, ST-02, OBC-06)
2. Supply Inspector (Food & Civil Supplies Department)

3. Tax Officer (Panchayati Raj Vibhag)

Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
Uttarakhand Naib Tehsildar, Tax Officer & Supply Inspector selection process will consist of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test (Interview) as per the Exam Pattern/ Syllabus below:
1. Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Exam (General Studies & General Aptitude Test) paper will be of 02 hours duration and will comprise of 150 Objective type questions of total 150 Marks. There will be negative marking of 0.25 Mark for every wrong answer.
2. Main Examination
Qualified candidates of Pre Exam will appear for the Main Exam. UK Lower Subordinate Services Main Exam will be of total 400 Marks consisting of two papers as:
General Studies (Paper 1) - 20 Descriptive type questions of 200 Marks (03 Hours duration)
Essay & Drafting (Paper 2) - 05 Descriptive type questions of 200 Marks (03 Hours duration)
3. Personality Test (Interview) - The Personality Test (Interview) will be of 50 Marks.
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the Main examination and Interview.

How to Apply
Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application for UKPSC Combined State Lower Subordinate Services Recruitment Exam 2016-17 Online through the website www.ukpsc.gov.in upto 12 September 2016. After successful submission of data, candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated application form for record.
