Karnataka PDO Recruitment 2016 � 1624 PDO & Grama Panchayat Secretary Posts

Karnataka examinations authority recently released a notification for the posts of Panchayat development officers & Grama Panchayat secretary grade -1. Government of Karnataka has established the common entrance test cell in the year 1994 for conducting of entrance test and determining the merit/eligibility for the admission of Karnataka candidates. To expand the activities of the common entrance test (cet) cell the Karnataka government has converted cet in to an autonomous body which is named as �Karnataka examinations authority� (kea). All the people that are skilled and interested can apply for the above posts before the last date. Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:  people who are applying for both the posts should be of age in between 18 years - 35 years. Relaxation of age will be given to the reserved categories according to the government rules.
Educational qualification: The people who are willing to apply for the posts should have any degree from a recognized university.
Selection method: The persons will be through online written exam & interview.
Salary details: salary for the both of the posts is given below.
1) Panchayat development officer: rs.20000-36300/-
2) Grama Panchayat secretary grade-1: rs.14550-26700/-
Examination Fee: candidates can apply for both of the posts. The details of the examination fees are as follows.

Examination pattern for kea-2016:
The exam will be conducted through online consisting of two papers paper-1 and paper-2.each paper consists of 200 marks and all the questions are of objective multiple choice.
Paper-1 consists of general knowledge general Kannada & general English.
Paper-2 consists of rural development and Panchayat raj.
(a) Duration of time for paper-1 is 2 hours.
(b) Duration of time for paper -2 is 2 hours.
