Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) invited applications for recruitment to the following 6205 Vacancies of Principal, PGT, TGT, Primary Teacher (PRT) and Primary Teacher (Music). Kendriya Vidyalaya Teaching Vacancies 2016-2017

KVS cancelled the previous recruitment for the posts of PGT, PRT and PRT (Music). Now a fresh notification has been released by KVS for recruitment of PGT, Primary Teacher (PRT) and PRT (Music) with more vacancies.

Total Number of Vacancies - 6205 Vacancies

1. Principal - 90 Vacancies

Pay Scale - Rs. 15600-39100 with GP of Rs. 7600

Essential Qualifications - Master�s Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate and B.Ed/equivalent teaching degree with prescribed experience.

Age Limit - 35 to 50 years as on 31.10.2016

2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - 690 Vacancies

Hindi - 62, English - 69, Maths - 73, Biology - 66, Physics - 68, Chemistry - 61, Economics - 48, History - 38, Geography - 31, Commerce - 96 & Computer Science - 78

Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4800

Educational Qualification - Master�s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

For PGT Computer Science - B.Tech/ B.E/ BCA/ MCA/ B.Sc (Computer Science)/ M.Sc (Computer Science)/ Equivalent degree

Age Limit - Maximum 40 Years as on 31.10.2016

3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - 926 Vacancies

Hindi - 116, English - 90, Maths - 126, Science - 120, Social Studies - 160, Sanskrit - 53, P&HE - 67, AE - 120, WE - 74

Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4600/-

Educational Qualification - Bachelor�s Degree with min 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects & in aggregate with B.Ed and CTET II.

For TGT P&HE, AE & WE - Degree/Diploma in concerned field (Physical Education/ Drawing and Painting/ Electrical or Electronics Engineering).

Age Limit - Maximum 35 Years as on 31.10.2016

4. Primary Teacher (PRT) - 4499 Vacancies

Primary Teacher - 4348, Primary Teacher (Music) - 151

Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4200/-

Educational Qualification -

Primary Teacher - Senior Secondary/ Intermediate/ equivalent with 50% marks and D.Ed/ B.El.Ed with CTET I

Primary Teacher (Music) - Senior Secondary/ Intermediate/ equivalent with 50% marks and Bachelor Degree in Music with D.Ed/ B.El.Ed

Age Limit - Maximum 30 Years as on 31.10.2016

Examination Fee

For the post of Principal - Rs. 1200/-

For PGT, TGT, Primary Teacher and Primary Teacher (Music) Posts - Rs. 750/-

SC, ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of exam fee.

Note - Candidates who have paid examination fee for the posts of PGT, Primary Teacher (PRT) and PRT (Music) as per the KVS Previous Recruitment Notification (Advt No. 10), not required to pay the exam fee again.

How to Apply

Eligible & interested candidates may submit their applications for KVS Recruitment 2016-17 online through website www.kvsangathan.nic.in or www.mecbsekvs.in from 27 September to 17 October 2016. After successful submission of data, candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated application form for record.  Candidates are not required to send the printout of their online applications or any other documents to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) by Post.

Last date of payment of exam fee through E-Challan - 22.10.2016
