Indian Air Force (IAF) going to organize Airmen Recruitment rally for the States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim. The Recruitment Test for Group Y (Non Technical) IAF (Security) Trade will be conducted from 10 December to 15 December 2016 at Air Force Station Guwahati, VIP Chowk, Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam). Indian Air Force Rally Borjhar (Assam) 2016-2017
Candidates should be born between 08 January 1997 and 28 June 2000 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Educational Qualification
Intermediate/ 12th/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Physical Standards
Height - 152.5 Cms
Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight - Proportionate to height and age
Visual Acuity - Unaided visual acuity of 6/6
Colour Vision - CP II
Selection and Recruitment Procedure
The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Physical fitness test (PFT), Written test, Adaptability test 1, Adaptability test 2 and Medical examination. The Physical Fitness Test for Indian Air Force (Security) or IAF (S) Trade will comprise of Run, Chin-ups, Push-ups and Bent-Knee Sit-ups. For Selection, All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL depends upon their performance in the recruitment rally. The AISL will be displayed at 11 Airmen Selection Centre, VIP Chowk, Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) - 781015 on 30th April 2017.
