21-year-old Mohit Ahlawat opened for local side Maavi XI in a Friends Premier League match at Delhi’s Lalita Park yesterday and sent opponents Friends XI's attack to all corners of the ground, dispatching 39 sixes and 14 fours from 72 deliveries.
Ahlawat has played three first-class games for Dehli and is targeting a money-spinning spot in the Dehli Daredevil's IPL squad with the lucrative auction taking place in two weeks time.
