Indian Army going to organize Unit Headquarter Quota (UHQ) recruitment rally for eligible candidates from all the States and UTs of India at Army Air Defence Centre, Gopalpur. UHQ recruitment rally for Soldier GD, Soldier Technical, Soldier Tradesmen and Soldier Clerk/SKT categories will be organized from 13 October to 22 October, 2016. 20 October - Soldier GD (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Goa, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Dadar Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh & MP)
21 October - Soldier GD (Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Gurgaon & UP)
22 October - Soldier Clerk/SKT for Son / Brother of Ex-servicemen / Serving Soldier and Son of War Widow and widow of Army AD Corps only (Any State / UT of India)
Medical Examination (except Soldier Clerk/SKT) - from 21 October 2016
Written Exam (except Soldier Clerk/SKT) - 29 January 2017

Age Limit
Soldier GD - 17� to 21 Years
Soldier Technical, Clerk and Tradesmen - 17� to 23 Years
Educational Qualification
Soldier GD - 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. In case of higher education, stipulation of percentage is waived off.
Soldier Technical - 12th pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
Soldier Clerk - 12th/ Intermediate exam pass (with English & Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in class 12th or Class 10th) with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Tradesmen - 10th simple pass
Outstanding Sportsman -
Players of Athletics/ Wrestling/ Volleyball/ Weight Lifting/ Basketball/ Boxing/ Handball/ Hockey/ Football/ Kabaddi sports disciplines are eligible for this UHQ rally. Sports Proficiency Trials will be conducted at Gopalpur Military Station during the recruitment rally and candidates may appear along with relevant certificates obtained from the concerned authorities within two years period (as on 13 Oct 2016). Sportsmen will be enrolled in Soldier (GD) and Soldier (Technical) trades only.

How to Apply
Only Relationship candidates (Son/ Brother of Servicemen/ Ex- Servicemen) can apply for this UHQ Recruitment Rally. Open category candidates can apply only for Outstanding Sportsman and Soldier (Musician). Eligible & desired candidates may appear in the recruitment rally at Main Gate of Army Air Defence Centre, Gopalpur (Odisha) at 4 AM on scheduled dates along with the following original documents with 02 attested copies of each.

3. Domicile/ Nativity certificate
4. Original Discharge Book
5. Character certificate issued by Village Sarpanch/ Local Police Station within six Months
6. Caste Certificate

9. NCC / Sports and Games certificates (if any)
