20 to 28 years i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1988 and 01.04.1996 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification
Junior Associate (JA) - Graduation in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from a recognised University.
Junior Agricultural Associate (JAA) - Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognised University/Institute.
(Candidates who are appearing in the Final year/Semester of Graduation, may also apply provisionally)
Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
SBI Junior Associates (Clerk) selection process will consist of online test in 02 phases as per the Exam Pattern below:
Phase 1 - Preliminary Examination
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam paper will be of 100 Marks (100 objective type questions) of 01 hour duration consisting of three sections as:
English Language - 30 Questions
Numerical Ability - 35 Questions
Reasoning Ability - 35 Questions
Phase 2 - Main Examination
Qualified candidates of Preliminary Exam will be called for the Main Exam. Junior Associates (Clerk) Main Exam paper will be of 200 Marks (190 objective type questions) of 02 Hours 40 minutes duration consisting of four sections as:
General/Financial Awareness - 50 Questions of 50 Marks (35 minutes duration)
General English - 40 Questions of 40 Marks (35 minutes duration)
Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Questions of 50 Marks (45 minutes duration)
Reasoning Ability& Computer Aptitude - �50 Questions of 60 Marks (45 minutes duration)
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the test (main examination) and interview (if interview is held).

SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS - Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges only)
Gen/ OBC - Rs.600/- (Application fee incl intimation charges)
Requisite application fee can be remitted online using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.

Eligible and desirous candidates may submit Online application for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2016-17 through Bank's website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in upto 25 April 2016. Candidates must have a valid email ID to get Call letter, advices etc. by email. You can apply for vacancies in one State and for one post only. You are advised to go through the advertisement carefully and fill all the necessary details while filling up the online form for registration. The printout of the computer generated application form is not required to send to the Bank.
