State Bank of India (SBI) has released PO Recruitment Notification for recruitment of 2200 Vacancies of Probationary Officer (PO). Pay Scale/ Salary
Rs. 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 with starting basic pay Rs.27620/-
GEN - 1028, SC - 351, ST - 231, OBC - 590
(PWD Vacancies: OH-20, VI-20, HI-20 and Backlog Vacancies: SC-47, ST-79, OBC-42)
Age Limit - 21 to 30 years as on 01.04.2016 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1986 and not later than 01.04.1995
Educational Qualification - Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Candidates appearing in the Final Year/Semester of Graduation may also apply provisionally.
Selection Procedure - SBI PO selection process will consist of:
Phase 1 - Preliminary Examination (Online)
Phase 2 - Main Examination (Online)
Phase 3 - Group Discussion and Interview

Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the Phase 2 (main examination) and Phase 3 (Group Discussion & interview).
Application Fee
SC/ ST/ PWD - Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges only)
Gen/ OBC - Rs.600/- (Application fee incl intimation charges)
Application fee can be remitted by online mode only using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
How to apply
Eligible and desirous candidates may submit online application for SBI PO Recruitment under Bank Vacancies 2016-2017 through Bank's website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in from upto 24 May 2016. Candidates must have a valid email ID to get Call letter, advices etc. by email. After completing online registration processes, take a printout of the system generated online application form. Candidates are advised to go through the advertisement carefully and fill all the necessary details while online registration.
