Bangalore Metro which is also known as Namma Metro a friendly addition to the city of Bangalore which contributes to the reduction of Carbon Emissions.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has released notification for the year 2016-2017 for the posts of Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Section Engineer, and Assistant Engineer & Junior Engineer on Contract basis. Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for the post of Executive Engineer is 50 years. For the post of Assistant Executive Engineer is 40 years, and for the posts of Section Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer the age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification:
All the candidates who are willing to apply for BMRCL should possess BE/B.TECH/Diploma in Civil Engineering and must have relevant Work Experience in their field.
Work Experience:
Candidates should possess a relevant Work Experience for all the particular posts and below are the details provided for each specific post.
1.Executive Engineer: Candidates who are willing to apply for this post should possess not only the relevant degree but also he/she should have minimum 12 years of experience in large infrastructure project execution out of which 5 years in Construction of Metro for Underground Station/Viaduct Station Tunneling with TBMs.
2. Assistant Executive Engineer:Candidates who are willing to apply for this particular post should possess not only the relevant degree and also he/she should have a minimum experience of 8 years large infrastructure project execution of which 5 years in construction of Metro for Underground Station/Viaduct Station Tunneling with TBMs. and also should have experience Construction Supervision, Piling, Casting Yard.
3. Section Engineer:Candidates who possess BE degree should have a minimum experience of 2 years in construction Supervision, Piling, yard casting, girders of launching U/G structures and tunneling in mega project out of which 1 year should be in Metro Rail Project.
Candidates who possess Diploma should have a minimum 6 years of experience in construction Supervision Piling, Casting Yard, girders launching U/G structures and tunneling in Mega Project out of which 5 years should be in Metro Rail Project.
4. Assistant Engineer:Candidates who possess BE degree should have a minimum experience of 3 years in construction supervision, piling, yard casting, launching of girders U/G structures and tunneling mega project out of which 2 years should be in Metro Rail Project.
Candidates who possess Diploma should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in construction supervision, piling, yard casting U/G structures and tunneling mega project out of which 6 years should be in Metro Rail Project.
5. Junior Engineer:Candidates who possess BE degree should have 2 years of experience in construction supervision, piling, casting yard, girders of launching U/G structures and tunneling mega project out of which 1 year should be in Metro Rail Project.
Candidates who possess Diploma should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in construction in supervision, piling, casting yard U/G structures out of which 3 years should be in Metro Rail Project.

Executive Engineer: 15600-39100 + GP 6600Assistant Executive Engineer: 15600-39100 + GP 5400
Section Engineer: 9300-34800 + GP 4200
Assistant Engineer: 9300-34800 + GP 4800
Junior Engineer: 5200-20200 + GP 2400
