As far as the location is concerned the university is located on the western bank of the HoogliRiver opposite city of Kolkata which is connected by transportation to all the major Indian cities by all modes of transport.
The academic session for the same starts in the month of June and the system of examination is that of semester type. There is certain eligibility criterion which is important for every candidate to abide by. Students must have passed 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 30% of marks in English.
