Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has issued the notification for the vacancies of the given posts mail guard and postman. The people that are waiting to work with government sector can use this chance. Tamil Nadu Postal Circle is inviting applications from all the people to fill the vacancies for the posts before the given last date. The Tamil Nadu Postal Circle is one among all the 23 Postal Circles in the country. This postal circle manages all the day to day functioning of various Head Post Offices, Sub-Post offices and Branch Post Offices through which their Regional and Divisional level arrangements. Tamil Nadu Circle has been divided into 4 regions. In each of the regions, there are Postal/RMS divisions that are headed by divisional Superintendents. Each of the regions is headed by a Postmaster General. Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Aspirants that are applying for the given posts should be of age in between 18 years to 27 years as on the given date 15-11-2016. Relaxation of age is provided according to government rules to all reserved people.
Educational qualification:
For the Post of Postman: Candidates must possess Matriculation from a recognized University.
For the Post of Mail Guard: For this post-Candidates must possess Matriculation or Equivalent degree from a well known recognized University/Board.
Salary details: Persons those who got selected will be given a salary of Rs.21700-69100/-
Selection method: Applicants are selected on the basis of Written Test and Interview and those who got selected in the Written Test are called for the final interview. The candidates who got selected in the final interview are displayed on the official website of the organization.
Application Fees & Examination Fees:
Application Fees: An Application fee is Rs.100/- which is mandatory for all categories of applicants who are applying for the posts.
Examination Fees: The examination fee is Rs.400/- for all the male candidates belonging to General & OBC categories.
Persons belonging to SC/ST/PH and women are exempt from the paying of fees.
Mode of Payment:
- Candidates are intimated to pay the fees through Post offices which are having the e-payment facility.
- The applicants who are registered should pay the required fee through system generated Challan within 3 days from the closing date of the online registration.
- Fees paid by other modes other than e-payment mode will not be accepted.

- Candidates are requested to go to the official website and select the particular post for which they are applying.
- Candidates must apply to any one of the posts, i.e.; either for Postman cadre or Mail guard.
- Candidates who are registered for more than one post will not be considered.
