OFRC Recruitment 2017 - 6948 Trade Apprentices Posts

Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre has released the notification for the recruitment of 55^th Batch of Trade Apprentices (ITI and Non ITI) under Apprentices Act 1961. Eligible candidates can apply online from 17 January 2017 to 07 February 2017.

Vacancies:- 6948 approx. (3621 for ITI and 3327 for Non ITI)
Age Limit:- 14 to 22 years
Stipend:- As per Trade Apprentice Act 1961
Qualification:- For Non-ITI category candidates must have passed 10 standard or equivalent with 40% marks in mathematics and science. For ITI category candidates must have passed ITI/ trade test or equivalent from institute recognized by NCVT.

How to Apply:- Eligible candidates can apply online through website http://www.ofb.gov.in from 17 January 2017 to 07 February 2017.

Selection Procedure:- Written Examination

Notes:-

• Candidates who have already applied through Government of India portal, www.apprenticeship.gov.in are required to re-apply to appear in written examination.
  
• Candidates are advised to keep copy of application printout with them for future reference.
  
• Candidates are not required to pay any fee for the examination.
  
• Canvassing of any kind will disqualify the candidate.
  
• Number of vacancies may increase or decrease.
  
• Age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
