Age Limit (As on 01.07.2016) - 21 to 42 years i.e. candidate must have been born between 02.07.1974 and 01.07.1995.
Essential Educational Qualifications
Samiksha Adhikari (Uttarakhand Secretariat/ UKPSC) - Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognised University and 4000 key depressions per hour in Hindi on Computer (for Uttarakhand Secretariat post only) with basic knowledge of computer operation.
Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari (Uttarakhand Secretariat/ UKPSC) - Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognised University and 4000 key depressions per hour in Hindi on Computer with basic knowledge of computer operation.
(Candidates must be registered in any of the Employment Offices of Uttarakhand State before last date of receipt of online application form)
Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
Samiksha Adhikari (Review Officer)/ Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari (Assistant Review Officer) selection process will consist of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Practical Exam as per the Exam Pattern/ Syllabus below:
Preliminary Examination
RO/ARO Preliminary Exam (General Studies) paper will be 02 hours duration and will comprise of 150 Objective type questions of total 150 Marks. There will be negative marking of 0.25 Mark for every wrong answer.
Main Examination
Qualified candidates of Preliminary Exam will appear for the Main Exam. RO/ARO Main Exam will be of total 300 Marks consisting of three papers as:
General Studies - 100 Objective type questions of 100 Marks (02 hours duration)
Hindi Composition - 05 Descriptive type questions of 100 Marks (03 hours duration)
Essay - 03 Descriptive type questions of 100 Marks (03 hours duration)

Basic Knowledge of computer Operation Practical Examination (Qualifying Nature)
Part 1 (01 hour duration) - Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office (100 Marks)
Consisting 01 question (each of 20 Marks) from each - (a) Windows and Internet (b) MS Word (c) MS Access (d) MS Excel (e) MS Power Point
Minimum 40 Marks will be mandatory to obtain in Part 1 to qualify.
Part 2 for Assistant Review Officer only (10 minutes duration) - Hindi Typing (Compulsory) and English Typing (Optional)
Part 3 for Review Officer, Uttarakhand Secretariat only (10 minutes duration) - Hindi Typing (Compulsory) and English Typing (Optional)
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the main examination (i.e. on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Main Exam out of total 300 Marks).

SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Serviceman - Rs.80/-
The requisite fee can be remitted through E-Challan/ Net Banking/ Debit Card after 2 days of filling of online application form.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application for UKPSC Samiksha Adhikari Recruitment Exam Online through UKPSC website www.ukpsc.gov.in upto 26 April 2016. A candidate can apply for one post only. After successful submission of data, candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated application form for record.
