UTET Exam Date, Admit Card and Pattern/ Syllabus 2016-2017

Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) is going to conduct the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) on 22 January 2017. All candidates who have applied for UTET 2015 Exam 2016-2017 may check here exam date/ time, admit card details, exam centre and pattern/ syllabus. UTET-1 and UTET-2 Admit Card will be available through Post, Online & Nodal centres. UTET 1 Admit Card and UTET 2 Admit Card 2017 can be downloaded online from the links below or from the official website www.ubse.uk.gov.in.

UTET Exam Date, Admit Card, Pattern, Syllabus
UTET Exam Pattern
Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) will be of 02.30 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective Type questions of total 150 Marks (01 mark each) as per the pattern/ syllabus below. Negative marking will not be implemented for UTET-1/ UTET-2.
UTET 1 (for classes 1 to 5) Primary Stage
Total number of questions - 150 (150 Marks)
1. Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
2. Language-1 (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
3. Language-2 (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
4. Mathematics (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
5. Environmental Studies (30 Questions) - 30 Marks

UTET 2 (for classes 6 to 8) Elementary Stage
Total number of questions - 150 (150 Marks)
1. Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
2. Language-1 (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
3. Language-2 (30 Questions) - 30 Marks
4. Mathematics and Science (60 Questions) - 60 Marks
OR Social Studies/Social Sciences (60 Questions) - 60 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks
General Category - 60% Marks (90 Marks)
SC/ ST Category - 40% Marks (60 Marks)
OBC/ PH Category - 50% Marks (75 Marks)

Rejected Candidates for UTET 2015 Exam (Updated)
UBSE rejected some of applications for UTET 2015-2016 due to errors made by candidates in form fee, qualification and marks details. In case of any objections, you may send it upto 05.01.2017 with supporting documents by Registered Post or by email at secy-ubse-uk@nic.in. UTET Admit Card 2017
UTET Admit Cards will be issued through Registered Post to all candidates on their postal address as mentioned by candidates in applications. In case of non receipt of Admit Card by Post, you may download the Admit Card online through website www.ubse.uk.gov.in and may appear at the concerned exam centre.  Also, you may get your Admit Card from the concerned Nodal Centre with submitting printout of OMR Application, Registry receipt and Photo ID Proof with two photographs.
UTET 1 Admit Card and UTET 2 Admit Card are available online and can be downloaded now. All aspirants can download their admit cards or check their admit card details by entering Application number or Name & Date of Birth. For your convenience, UTET Admit Card download links, exam date and related latest news updates 2016-2017 are being published on this page.

Uttarakhand TET UTET 2015 - UTET 1 & 2 Exam 2016-2017

School Education, Government of Uttarakhand invited applications for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2015-2016 for a person to be eligible for appointment as a Teacher for classes I to VIII. All eligible candidates may apply for UTET 2015 - 2016 in the prescribed application format (OMR). Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) or UTET-1 and UTET-2 Exam 2016-2017 as application form, eligibility, fee, last date, exam date, admit card etc latest information is given below.

Uttarakhand TET, UTET, UTET 1, UTET 2
Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification for UTET 1 (Classes 1-5):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)/ BTC. Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). Or 

Graduation (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)/ BTC. Or

Siksha Mitra who passed 2 years Diploma (D.El.Ed) from IGNOU. Or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and D.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).

Candidates appearing in 2 years Degree/ Diploma and final year of 4 years Degree are also eligible for Teacher Eligibility Test.

Educational Qualification for UTET 2 (Classes 6-8):
Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma (B.T.C/ D.El.Ed) in Elementary Education. Or

Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/L.T/Siksha Shastri) in Education. Or

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/ L.T/ Siksha Shastri) in Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Examination Fees
General/ OBC Category:
Only UTET I or UTET II - Rs. 600/-
Both UTET I & UTET II - Rs. 1000/-
SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Category:
Only UTET I or UTET II - Rs. 300/-
Both UTET I & UTET II - Rs. 500/-

How to Apply
Candidates are required to get UTET Application forms by paying requisite fee from the Post Offices as given in the prospectus. The application forms will be available from 24 October to 23 November 2016. Candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format (OMR application form) complete in all respect by Speed Post/ Registered Post addressed to �Secretary, Uttarakhand Vidhyaleye Siksha Parishad, Ramnagar (Nainital), Pin Code - 244715� so as to reach on or before last date.
