Written Exam Pattern
CRPF Constable Tech & Trades written test will be conducted on OMR basis. The question paper will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 100 objective type questions (01 mark each) comprise of 02 parts as:
Part 1 (50 Questions) - General Awareness (Knowledge), Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, Basic knowledge in English/ Hindi
Part 2 (50 Questions) - Questions based on respective trades
Cut off marks for qualifying in written exam:
Gen/ Ex-Servicemen - 35 % Marks
SC/ST/OBC - 33 % Marks
Candidates declared pass in written examination will undergo Trade test (qualifying in nature), Medical examination and Documentation.

Recruitment Process and Selection
The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Written exam, Trade test and Medical examination. For selection, final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written exam and trade test. Candidates are required to pay Rs.50/- as examination fee in the form of Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque in favour of the concerned authorities (see advt). SC, ST, Ex-serviceman and Female candidates are not required to submit exam fee.
