Indian Air Force (IAF) Recruitment rally for eligible unmarried Male candidates from the designated Districts of State of Gujarat will be held at Police Parade Ground, Near Sarpat Gate, Khavda Road, Bhuj (Gujarat) from 24 November to 28 November 2016. 25 November 2016 - Adaptability Test-2
Districts - Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gir-Somnath, Jamnagar, Junagarh, Kheda, Kutchch (Bhuj), Morbi, Panchmahal, Patan, Porbandar, Rajkot, Surendernagar districts of State of Gujarat and Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli
26 November 2016 - Written Test, Adaptability Test-1 & Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
27 November 2016 - Adaptability Test-2
28 November 2016 - Reserve day
Age Limit - Candidates should be born between 08 January 1997 and 28 June 2000 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Educational Qualification
Group X (Technical) - Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR Passed 3 year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics/IT Stream) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.
Group Y Trade - Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Selection and Recruitment Process
The selection process shall consist of Verification of eligibility, Written test, Adaptability Test-1, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-2 and Medical Examination. For Selection, All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL depends upon their performance in the Rally.
