Trying your new selfie stick with your Android Phone but it doesn't work with your phone? Just in case, if you are not able to use selfie stick with Android phone, here are a few settings you should check on your phone's camera app. I am blogging this post because someone posted on my previous blog post that he is not able to use selfie stick on his Android Redmi Phone. On some Android phones, "WCDMA only (read 3g)" is not specifically selectable under "preferred network type ". This is also the case on Xiaomi Redmi Android phones. Only the following options are available :
1. Prefer LTE (4G)
2. Prefer 3G
3. 2G Only

Where are the hidden files and folders in Redmi Android phone?

This post is related to Xiaomi Redmi Android Phones.
The default file manager app on the Redmi phone is pretty neat. There are features such as grouping by file-type, cleanup tool, hidden folder, etc.

The "hide" tool is just below when a file or folder is selected. It is so easy to access that sometimes you unintentionally tap on hide when you actually wanted to delete the file or folder. And swish! It's gone.

Where does Wynk app stores the downloaded songs?


Wynk is a music streaming app launched by Airtel. It also allows songs to be downloaded and listened to offline. Data charges apply. When a user browse for songs on the Wynk app, there is an option to download the song one the phone or purchase. What is the difference between purchasing and downloading really? When purchased, one gets a audio file (.mp3). If you simply download, the file is saved to the phone but not as a regular audio file such as an mp3 file.
