UK D.El.Ed Entrance Exam Updates 2016-17

D.El.Ed Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure

Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Entrance Exam will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 200 Objective Type questions of total 200 Marks (01 mark each). D.El.Ed question paper will comprise of questions on General Awareness (Knowledge), General Mental Ability & Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Teaching Aptitude.

For selection, district & category wise merit lists will be prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Exam. Before admission or allotment of seats in DIETs, all shortlisted candidates will undergo documentation process at district level.

Total number of seats - 650 (50 Seats for each DIET including 50% for Science Group and 50% for Arts Group)

D.El.Ed Course (Training) fees - Rs.35000 per year, and Rs.650 per semester in the form of examination fee

D.El.Ed Entrance Exam Admit Cards will be sent through Registered Post to all candidates on their postal addresses. In case of non receipt of Admit Card by Post, you may download the Admit Card online through website www.ubse.uk.gov.in. D.El.Ed Admit Card will be available online after declaration of exam date and can be downloaded before 01-02 week from the exam date. You may download or check your admit card details by entering Application number or Name. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2017) - 19 to 30 years (Relaxation in age as per rules).

Educational Qualification - Completed Graduate Degree from a recognized University before publication of this advertisement.

Selection Procedure

As we know, now B.Ed Degree holders are not eligible for Teaching in Primary Schools and they can't apply for UTET-1 also. Therefore now to be a Primary School Teacher and to be eligible for UTET-1 as a required qualification, candidates must have Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Candidates will be selected for the 02 years self financed D.El.Ed (earlier it was known as BTC) training in respective DIETs on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. For selection merit list will be prepared in order of entrance exam marks obtained by candidates.

Application fee

Gen/OBC Candidates - Rs. 350/-

SC/ST Candidates - Rs. 175/-

Disabled Candidates - Rs. 100/-

How to Apply

Candidates are required to get D.El.Ed Application forms from the Post Offices of Uttarakhand by paying requisite fee. Application forms will be available from 01 November to 23 November, 2016. Eligible candidates may send their application by Registered Post/Speed Post in the prescribed format (OMR application form) complete in all respect addressed to �Secretary, Uttarakhand Vidhyaleye Siksha Parishad, Ramnagar (Nainital)� so as to reach on or before the last date.

Selection and Recruitment Process

Uttarakhand Prathmik Vidyalaya Sahayak Adhyapak selection process will be completed under the supervision of the SCERT Uttarakhand, Dehradun. Candidates will be selected as an Assistant Teacher Primary (Sahayak Adhyapak) on the basis of training year seniority and merit calculated as per the method given below. The combined seniority list will be prepared on State level and districts will be allotted to candidates in order of their preference, seniority & merit. The Selection & Recruitment Process is also known as Vishisht BTC/ Special BTC/ VBTC and the Previous recruitment was advertised in Feb 2014.

The requisite application fee can be remitted in the form of Crossed Bank Draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of Additional Director, SCERT Uttarakhand, Dehradun. PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
