Check Your Eligibility Online

You can check your eligibility online to ensure to pursue a career as Sailor or Officer in the Indian Navy based on your qualification. To check eligibility online through official website, open the Am I Eligible or Eligibility form page and submit the required data as Date of Birth (Age), Gender and Highest Qualification. Then click on Check My eligibility Now button and you�ll get current post category or entry/ batch course details for which you�re eligible as per your qualification.

Indian Navy Online Registration

Online Registration process has been made compulsory for all the candidates before submitting applications for any recruitment under (SSR, AA, MR, NMR etc) and Officer Entry (Executive, Engineering, Electrical, Education & Medical). After the registration candidates can apply to join the Indian Navy and can monitor status of their applications submitted to Indian Navy Recruitment. Also, after the one time registration you may get alerts (notification) for the entry openings on your registered Email/ Mobile number.

Register to join as Officer in Executive, Engineering, Electrical, Education & Medical branch and as Sailor for:

For registration you have to create an account on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Open the Create Account or Registration page and submit the required data in the Registration form as Personal details (Date of Birth, Gender, Marital Status), Educational details (qualification as 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BE, B.Tech, BCA, LLB, MA, M.Tech, MCA, MBA) and Account details (Email ID & Password). Then enter the correct value in calculation box and select the checkboxes. After filling all the required details correctly click on save button. Now you�ll get Email verification link on your E-mail ID. Open your Email Inbox and click on the given link to verify/ confirm your Email ID. After confirmation of your Email ID, Login to Join Indian Navy website using Email Address and Password. Now you may access your account, profile and application form for current entries based on your qualification.

How to Submit Online Application form

You can fill Online Application form after the publication of advertisement for current Batch Course for Officer Entry and Sailor Entry. You will be notified about the entry openings on your registered Email ID/ Mobile number also. Open the Join Indian Navy Login page and login using your Email ID and Password. Now open Current Opportunities (see left sidebar) and click on relevant link to submit online application for any opened entries. Fill up your personal details, Educational details & other required details to submit online application form for Sailor Entry (SSR, AA, MR, NMR etc) and Officer Entry.

Pay Scale - Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2000/-

Age Limit - 17 to 21 years as on 01.04.2017 i.e. a candidate should be born between 01 April 1996 and 31 March 2000 (Both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification

Matric Recruits (MR)

Steward - Matric (10th Class Pass)

Cook - Matric (10th Class Pass)

Non Matric Recruits (NMR)

Topass - 06th Class Pass

Physical Standards

Height - Minimum 157 Cms

Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion

Weight - Proportionate to height and age

Selection/Recruitment Process

Selection/Recruitment Process will consist of Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. An all India Merit list will be prepared of those candidates who qualify in all respects depending upon the available vacancies.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run in 07 minutes, 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.

Eligible and desirous candidates may submit application in Physical format (Hand written on printed application) or e-application (Online). Online submission of the application may be made at website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in upto 19.06.2016. Send the application along with the required documents by Post addressed as follows:

Nausena Bharti MR NMR Syllabus Pattern 2016-2017

Written Exam Scheme/ Pattern

Matric Recruit Written Exam question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge and will be of 01 hour duration. In case of Non Matric Recruit entry, the question paper will comprise of two sections i.e. Mathematics and General Knowledge of 40 minutes duration. The question paper will consist of objective type questions and will be set both in English and Hindi.
