AE Information Technology (IT) - 03 (Gen-02, SC-01, ST-00, OBC-00)
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2016)
18 to 42 years i.e. candidate should be born between 02 Jul 1974 and 01 Jul 1998.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor�s Degree in the concerned Engineering Branch (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Information Technology) with minimum 60% Marks (SC/ST- only pass) from a recognized Institution.
Selection Procedure
PTCUL AE Selection process will consist of Written Exam (176 Marks) and Interview (24 Marks). Written exam will be of 03 hours duration and the question paper will comprise of total 176 Objective type questions (01 Mark each) consisting two parts as per the pattern below. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Part 1 - Analytical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude & General Knowledge (50 Questions)
Part 2 - Questions based on the respective Engineering Branch (126 Questions)
For inclusion in written exam merit list it is required to score minimum 45% Marks for Gen/OBC Candidates and minimum 35% Marks for SC/ST Candidates. After the written exam candidates will be called for Interview category wise in the ratio of 1:3. For selection of candidates in the post of Assistant Engineer final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written exam and interview.
