Indian Air Force (IAF) going to organize Airmen Recruitment rally for eligible Male candidates from all the districts of Karnataka State. The Recruitment Test for Group Y Non-Technical (Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF Police & Medical Assistant) Trades will be conducted from 17 February to 19 February 2016 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, Mysuru (Karnataka). Age Limit

Candidates should be born between 01 August 1996 and 30 November 1999 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Educational Qualification

Group Y Non Technical (Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF P) Trades - Intermediate/ 12th/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Or Passed 02 Years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Group Y Non Technical (Medical Assistant) Trade - Intermediate/ 12th/ Equivalent examination pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Physical Standards

Height - Automobile Technician-165 Cms, GTI-167 Cms, IAF (P)-175 Cms, Med Asst-152.5 Cms

Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion

Weight - Proportionate to height and age

Selection and Recruitment Process

The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Written test, Adaptability Test-1, PFT, Adaptability Test-2 & Medical Examination. For Selection, All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL depends upon their performance in the recruitment rally.

Candidates who qualify or pass the Phase-1 (Written exam) will be allowed to appear in Phase-2. Written Exam paper will be of 225 Marks of 2.30 hours duration consist of two parts as:

Section A - Hindi Language or English Language (50 Marks)

For selection, category wise merit list will be prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Part-I and Part-II i.e. out of total 225 Marks.

General/ OBC Category - Rs.100/-

The requisite fee can be remitted through State Bank of India Challan or Online payment through Net Banking/Credit and Debit cards of any Bank. SC/ST, Female and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Question Paper for Railway Women (Mahila) Constable Written Exam will comprise of questions based on General Awareness (50 questions), Arithmetic (35 questions) and General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 questions). There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Minimum 35% marks for UR/OBC candidates and minimum 30% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify the written exam.

Physical Tests

Qualified candidates of Written Exam will be called for Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test. The PET will be of qualifying nature and required to qualify the following events. Qualified candidates of PET will be measured for eligibility with respect to height.

Long Jump - 12 Feet (Two chances)

High Jump - 03 Feet (Two chances)

Physical Efficiency Test

Qualified candidates of Physical Measurement Test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test will be of total 100 marks and minimum 50 marks will mandatory to obtain in aggregate with at least 50% marks in each item. See the image below for Physical Efficiency Test items (Cricket ball throw, long jump, run/race, shuttle race and skipping) & marks distribution.

Written Exam/ Written Exam Pattern- Qualified candidates of Physical Efficiency Test will have to undergo an Objective type written exam of 100 Marks. Question Paper for UK Arakshi Police (Mahila) Written Exam will comprise of questions based on General Knowledge (70 Marks) & Hindi Language (30 Marks). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum 45% marks for Gen/OBC candidates and minimum 35% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify the written exam.

General/ OBC Category - Rs.60/-

SC/ ST Category - Rs.15/-

The requisite fee can be remitted through Treasury Challan.

Selection / Recruitment Procedure

Selection/ Recruitment process for the selection of UK Police Lady (Mahila) Sub Inspector will consist of Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test & Written Exam. For selection, category wise merit lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Written Exam.

Physical Efficiency Test

Qualified candidates of Physical Measurement Test or Physical Standard Test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test will be of qualifying nature and required to qualify the following item standards.

Cricket ball throw - 20 Meters

Long jump - 08 Feet

Run/race - 200 Meters (in 40 Seconds)

Skipping - 60 Times in 1 minute

Shuttle Race (25x4 Meter) - In 29 Seconds

Written Exam/ Written Exam Pattern- Qualified candidates of Physical Efficiency Test will have to undergo an Objective type written exam of 300 questions of 300 Marks (each question will be of 01 Mark). Question Paper for UK Police Mahila SI Written Exam will comprise of questions based on General Hindi and General Knowledge & Mental Aptitude Test as per the pattern given below. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum 45% marks for Gen/OBC candidates and minimum 35% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to be included in merit list.

1. General Hindi (10th level) - 100 Questions (Time: 1 hour)

2. General Knowledge & Mental Aptitude Test - 200 Questions (Time: 2 hours)

(a) Reasoning - 50 Questions

(b) General Awareness - 75 Questions

(c) Mathematical Aptitude (10th level) - 75 Questions

Examination Fee

SC/ ST Category - Rs.25/-

All other Category - Rs.100/-

The requisite fee can be remitted through Treasury Challan.

How to Apply

Eligible and desirous candidates may apply for UK Police SI Recruitment 2016 in the prescribed application format (Offline) by downloading from the link below. Candidates can apply for one Recruitment centre (Almora/ Bageshwar/ Chamoli/ Champawat/ Dehradun/ Haridwar/ Nainital/ Pithoragarh/ Pauri Garhwal/ Rudraprayag/ Tehri Garhwal/ Udham Singh Nagar/ Uttarkashi) only. Submit application form along with all the required documents as 02 self-addressed envelopes with postage stamps of Rs.5/- on each, 02 passport size colour photographs, application fee and attested photocopies of educational certificates/ marks sheet, caste certificate, employment office registration certificate, domicile certificate etc to the concerned District SP Office (Recruitment centre) so as to reach on or before last date.
