Candidates will be shortlisted for Services Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of Class 12th (PCM) percentage or JEE (Main) Rank 2016. Selection for SSB interview & SSB dates information will be intimated via Email/SMS to shortlisted candidates. Thereafter shortlisted candidates will have to undergo SSB interview of two Stages at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam during Feb - Apr 2017. After medical examination, candidates who qualify in all respects will be selected for training (four years B.Tech Degree course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala) in the order of an All India Merit List depending on the number of vacancies.

Soldier Clerk/SKT - 12th/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Soldier Nursing Assistant (NA) - 12th Pass in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Tradesmen - 10th pass or ITI (Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper - 08th pass)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates are required to apply online for ARO Narangi (Assam) Rally through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 03 December 2016 to 16 January 2017. After the online registration process you may appear in the recruitment rally at TCP No 1, Missamari Cantonment (Assam) on respective dates (as mentioned in Admit Card) with educational certificates/ marks sheet, domicile certificate, character certificate, unmarried certificate, other certificates (NCC/Computer/Sports etc), passport size photographs etc required documents.

Selection and Recruitment Procedure
After the application submission process candidates will be called for AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) on 26 February 2017 at one of the examination centres. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of AFCAT/EKT will be called for Stage-1, Stage-2 & Flying Branch tests at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kancharapara. Thereafter, Medical examination will be conducted at AFCME, New Delhi or IAM Bengaluru. Candidates who qualify in all respects will be shortlisted by the final merit list depending upon available vacancies for training under branches/ sub-branches.
